My life was to show what I was doing to calm myself during this time and shelter in place was to show where I was doing most of my activities. ![]() There is not much today here just read the story and you will understand that don't stress so much about school like me and make this time fun for yourself. This could cause a macro change in your mood and health. Shelter in place is not fun but, you have the option of making it fun so do something exciting and stop being bored all day. Although it is difficult this micro story could make a enormous impact if people read it and learn from it. This story is good to know because it shows that there are some fun activities to do during this horrible pandemic. I wanted to share to show other students how life is to other students. So again, that is why I wrote this story to cheer me up when I am sad or depressed. This sucks and makes me really sad inside because I'm getting low scores when I don't know what's going on. I wanted a story to make me happy from the stress of school because some teachers are giving out low scores because students don't understand something. The story behind those words were just to describe my life being at home because I hate it and it causes lots of stress, so what I did was write the fun activities I do at home to show that my life isn't as difficult as I think. Now that I'm at home there’s not much I could do but, the things at home which annoys me because there aren’t many things to do at home. I chose these words because I have been most impacted by doing stuff at home from working and not being able to have much fun. My six words are My life during shelter in place to describe my life at home during this COVID-19 pandemic. I wanted to share this because I LOVE TO PLAY AND HEAR MUSIC. The story behind the words is because I love playing Instruments and I know how to play a little of these instruments And I want to learn more about them. Our Words have Power! What are the most powerful six words to describe your experience during COVID-19? Legend has it that when Ernest Hemingway, a famous author, was challenged to write a six-word story, he came up with “For Sale: baby shoes, never worn.” Inspired by Hemingway’s short story, 6-Word Memoirs have become popular by writers of all ages, races, countries, languages, and demographics. ![]() Additionally, six words makes a writer think about their diction or the words they choose. ![]() A few examples from teens: 'Finally learned 'weird' is a compliment', 'Mom just revoked my creative license', 'Living my dream please send money.' It is a short autobiographical story about life and experience written in six words. ![]() This poigniant online exhibition offers insight to the world of teens and how they are dealing. ![]() ![]() Something that’s often overlooked with a semi-automatic litter box is the fact they’re easy to move around the house as they don’t require a mains power point. ![]() ![]() It’s worth noting they’re much more automated than a standard litter tray.Ī semi-automatic litter box will generally use less litter than a normal litter tray. If you think of these self cleaning litter boxes as being semi automatic, having no power to operate them. The main difference with a semi-automatic litter box is that you’re required to get more “hands on” often you will need to rotate the litter box or initiate the cleaning process. My own cats adapted instantly to their new litter boxes and I’ve had no issues since. This is entirely dependant on your cat some will take to the new litter box quickly and others might take a while longer. This is something worth considering before you purchase a new automatic litter box.Ĭats can often be quite picky when it comes to their litter and litter boxes so it can take a while for a cat to get used to their new litter box. It’s important to note that most self cleaning automatic litter boxes will require some form of power supply, normally via mains electricity. Usually, the rake or drum won’t start cleaning for at least 20 minutes after your cat has used the tray. The Litter Robot works differently by using a drum which rotates and the waste is then sifted into a tray under the drum.Īutomatic litter boxes have special motion sensors to detect whether or not your cat is in the litter tray before they clean it. An automatic litter box will in general use much less litter than a conventional litter box.Īn automatic litter box will usually be powered by electricity or battery operated and will typically have a rake that clears the waste from the litter box. Most automatic litter boxes require very little user attention other than plugging them in and assuring there’s enough litter in the tray. There are two different kinds of self cleaning litter boxes available on the market, these are fully automatic and semi-automatic versions.įirst, we’ll look at the fully automatic version and weigh up the pros and cons. Fully Automatic or Semi-Automatic Litter Box? This is where an automatic litter box comes in by removing the faeces and keeping your litter box in a more hygienic state. The hygiene element is very important, the longer the faeces stay in the box the more germs that can be spread around your house by your cat. I think one of the main benefits of a automatic litter box is the time it saves you, especially with today’s hectic society we’re all too busy rushing around to take care of the small things. Let’s face it, cleaning a litter box out by hand isn’t difficult but it isn’t pleasant either, it’s something that you sign up for when you buy a cat and most of us don’t know any different. If you answered yes to any of the above then a self cleaning litter box will more than likely revolutionise your home and provide you with a more hygienic place to live. Do you work long hours or spend a lengthy amount of time away from home?.Some automatic litter boxes have a rotating drum like the Litter Robot which then filters the waste into a chamber underneath. They have motion sensors to detect if your cat is in the litter tray and generally don’t operate for around 20 minutes after your cat has used the litter box. There are many different kinds of self cleaning litter boxes, some are fully automatic and typically have a rake that sifts through the litter and removes the waste into a tray. What is a Self Cleaning Litter Box?Ī self cleaning litter box is exactly what the title suggests, it’s a mechanical system that clears the large clumps from the litter and typically moves these into a box or bag ready for disposal. In this article, I’m going to review both semi-automatic and automatic self cleaning litter boxes and look at the pros and cons and which is the best value and most efficient litter box on the market. What if there was a way round this? well, there is in the form of a self cleaning litter box! You wouldn’t be alone us cat owners all experience this and sometimes you just can’t be bothered to change cat litter as it’s one of them jobs that we all like to “put off” but we’ve got to do it as a responsible pet owner.
